I am relatively new to fountain pens and thus have mostly bought inexpensive pens. At $18, this is on the cheaper end of the ones I’ve purchased. Let me just say, this is the best fountain pen I’ve used to date, hands-down. It comes with 6 ink cartridges and a converter; I opted to fill the converter with ink (Pelikan 4001 in blue black) to try it out.

It has a nice weight without feeling heavy in the hand. The grip is smooth and comfortable for my grip style. I was most impressed by how quickly the ink flowed after filling the converter for the first time and how smoothly this pen writes. I have not experienced any skipping and it does not feel scratchy even on cheap copy paper. It has a decent feel un-posted but I prefer to post the cap and the cap posts securely, unlike many others that fly off in the course of writing. The leather gift box was a pleasant surprise; I expected it to be faux leather but it smells like actual leather.

Overall, my new favorite pen. Highly recommend.

It’s been over 60 years since I’ve used a fountain pen and I’m enjoying using it each time. Writing is becoming a lost art and this makes you feel like you’re tapping into the authors of old. They have a nice feel in your hand as you use it. I’ve bought four of these pens!

The fine tip and style make us both LOVE to use them all the time and it comes with the refillable cartridge so we just refill and go! Super easy and we love it!!!!

This is a fairly nice pen. The nib is nice looking, the ink flows nicely, the weight is decent. The cap posts well. Writing with it felt a bit scratchy at first, but after some light sanding it writes smoothly. I would buy again.

Well built and balanced. Writes smooth and has the right amount of drag. I write too fast with a gel pen because it moves so fast. This slows me down just enough. Great gift, I bought three, two blue one black.

I like the feel and smooth texture

I loved this pen upon receiving it and used it as my everyday pen. However within 2 weeks of having it, the pen slipped out from the cap that was pinned to my shirt pocket, leaked ink all over my shirt, and the cap will randomly fall off still. Out of every fountain pen I own (30+) this is the only one I’ve had this problem with, and so quickly too.

I really like how it writes and how it looks, it’s a bargain for the price too. I just wish there was better quality in the cap or any sort of support/replacement parts.

This pen was literally perfect. It’s weighted in the hand, the material is sturdy and pretty, the way it writes is superb! Until I dropped it off my desk (about 4ft high) once and now the cap doesn’t sit on the pen properly. If I jiggle the pen even a little the cap goes flying off. This pen had high marks when it started and everything else is still great but it’s not 5 stars.
